  Our Board of Governors, staff and the Morrow Family met together for a special lunch to celebrate the renaming of our Assembly Hall to the 'Morrow Hall' in memory of Robin Morrow who served as a Governor / Chair for over 40 years.His commitment to Gilnahirk Primary was amazing!!

• Lit in Colour

  Our school has won a competition run by @PenguinUKBooks The Programme is called Lit in Colour and we have received an incredible 115 books by Black, Asian and minority ethnic writers for our new library. A huge thanks to the Penguin team for a prize that will be well used.

  

• Gilnahirk Open Day

  The countdown is on to our School Open Day on Friday 2nd December. Put the date into your diary, if you have a child starting Primary 1 in September 2023. Plan to come along and discover what makes Gilnahirk Primary a special place to be in!

  Our school football team had a brilliant win against Cavehill Primary in the 2nd round of the Belfast Schools' 7 a-side Cup. Well done lads!!
