We were delighted to support the Sonshine Club Kenya appeal again in December at our nativities and at our Carol Service. The very generous amount of £600 was raised and we hope to present the Sonshine Club with a cheque at an assembly in the near future. Many thanks for your kind generosity. As you will also remember, we had a ‘dress down for defib’ day on the last day of term which raised a phenomenal £900. This will go a very long way to contributing to our much needed new defibrillator. Again, a massive thank you for all of your generosity with this appeal.

We had a very special Assembly for our P3-7 pupils to launch our new House Competition. Which house will be victorious? Donard, Scrabo, Lagan or Stormont. Mr. Robin Morrow (former pupil and Chair of Governors) is providing the 'Morrow Shield', which the Houses will compete for.

Our Primary 7 pupils elected the House and Vice Captains. This is a super honour and we know they will each lead their Houses well. Mr. Morrow presented the badges to each pupil and as you can see from the photo below, they're ready to work hard for those team points

As a result of your generosity at our Nativity and Carol Service Collections we raised £600 which will all be used to purchase water filters for children/their families in Kenya. It's amazing to think that these families’ lives will be impacted for many years!!
