  • Wonderful New Wall Displays

    Wonderful new wall displays have ben placed along the library corridor in Gilnahirk Primary that highlights the work of our very talented pupils. A whole school topic related project involved pupils from P2 to P7 creating clay tiles which were then fired and mounted to produce a permanent piece of sculpture to be enjoyed in school for many years.

  • Gilnahirk Golf Team win the Tri Golf Tournament

    Our P7 Golf team had a great day at the Primary Schools' Tri Golf Tournament in Castlereagh Hills G.C. with their pro, Roy Skillen. And the good news is.... We won the Tournament!! Tri Golf Champions 2017.

  • Ground Force comes to Gilnahirk

    Gilnahirk's Ground Force Team in action throughout the school grounds. A big thanks to all our parent helpers who volunteered Painting, Paving, Flat pack, Drilling, Gardening....lots of skills on display tonight!  A well earned chip butty was had! Thanks again to everyone who helped and it's brilliant to see the Gilnahirk Parent Community in action.

  • P4 Bun Sale

    P4 organised a Bun Sale to help Daniel Darnbook's Dad raise money for Marie Curie. Daniel's Dad is cycling from Malin to Mizen which is the entire length of Ireland. We would like to thank all our pupils and their parents for their generosity in baking and providing so many delicious buns!
  • New Amphitheatre

    The new amphitheatre is proving very popular with all our performers and spectators even though the weather is not as nice as earlier in the week.
