As Chairman of the Board of Governors, it gives me great pleasure to write this forward to the Gilnahirk Primary School Website. Over the years, our school has aimed to prepare our pupils both educationally and socially for the next stage of their education and life generally. The children attending the school at present live in a rapidly changing world with technology playing a vital role. This Website is an active extension of our development in the use of the Internet. I am delighted that it also provides a World-Wide platform for the display of pupils' work and am certain that many new associations with other schools around the world will follow. As Chairman, I am justly proud of the achievements of our pupils and the vision of our staff. This Website fully illustrates both.
