Hello P.1. Take some time this week to paint a rock. You can decorate it anyway you like. Ask an adult to cover it with varnish when it’s finished. Then put it in the box just inside the pedestrian gate at the front of school, next time you are passing. We would love to see as many rocks as possible to display in the school grounds as a reminder of this unique time. Hope you enjoy this activity, We can’t wait to see all the rocks!

This Saturday is our virtual sports day. If you haven’t already registered, you can do so at healthy Kidz.com. We would normally have an egg and spoon race and an obstacle race, but choose any activity that looks fun and have a little practice this week.
We will be reading the last few pink level books on the Oxford Owls website over the next couple of weeks, but if your child is finding the reading very easy please feel free to move on to the red level books. It would be lovely to hear how they are getting on so feel free to email and let us know.
Thanks Mrs Hodgen.
Hi P.1 I hope you are all well. I am writing a little message today as my WiFi is not working and so I can’t put a video up! Very disappointing!! Never mind hopefully it will be working again soon. I hope you enjoyed the story ‘whatever next’ and have fun acting it out today. I will put some extra numeracy pages up in case you have finished everything. Also if you are watching Bitesize programmes there was a geography lesson about a journey to France 28th April https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zktjqp3
which fits in with our topic well. Keep sending the photos of your lovely work and I will put them all up when my WiFi is working properly again!

Good morning, I hope you are all well, we have added another weekly planner to give you some ideas and activities to do at home. We have been enjoying watching the afternoon club, and I couldn't believe it when I saw there was a gardening programme, it fits in perfectly with what we are doing this week. If you haven’t already seen it, here is link to it, you may recognise someone!!https://youtu.be/rh_tvXPi56c

Good morning, I hope you are all working hard this morning. Here is some lovely work already finished this morning! Maybe you could write sentences using ‘went’ and ‘look’ too if you add ‘ing’ to look it becomes ‘looking’ Here is a little rhyme too that might help you act out the story of Jack and the beanstalk. You could try an app for rhyming words such as ‘ partners in rhyme’ Have fun!
Good morning P.1’s hope you enjoyed your first day of working from home and you are all well. Please look through your pack today and choose an activity to do. You might choose to do a page of your farm booklet. Your homework is stuck into your homework book and you can do this in the morning if it suits better. Hope you get a chance to play outside this week and it stays dry. Speak to you soon Mrs Hodgen and Mrs Rodgers.
