Mr Sloan help to plant a mulberry bush and commented upon our good fortune in choosing a 'cold and frosty morning' for the grand unveiling, in keeping with the popular children's nursery rhyme featuring this plant!

On 9th February P6 McClune had another treat when Colin Shields - Captain of the Belfast Giants - came to teach them some hockey skills. It was a fantastic afternoon which the children thoroughly enjoyed. A huge thank you to Tesco for sponsoring the event.
Our Daisy Day was a great success. The school looked bright and cheerful with everyone wearing something yellow!
More importantly we raised a grand total of £968.07.
This money will help families nursing a child with cancer- facilitating, for example, a sleepover at ' Narnia' the charity's magical log cabin and/or providing much needed financial help for parents to help meet the cost of travelling to hospital for regular treatment sessions. THANK YOU to all who donated so generously
